Adventure Racing

Those looking to compete in their first adventure race, or those looking to improve their performance and rank during competition will find opportunities within the programming created by our Head Coach and Physical Therapist, Coach MeLo.

Our application of CrossFit has far-reaching benefits in all competitive sports, including adventure racing.  All 10 General Physical Skills are addressed through our programming: cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy; designed specifically with the Bell City Community in mind.

How we do it:

CrossFit Group

Bell City CrossFit provides a continually varied mix of the following training modalities:

- Fundamental weightlifting movements (e.g. deadlift, squat, press, snatch, clean and jerk) to build strength, power and hip/leg capacity;

- Monostructural metabolic conditioning movements (e.g. run, bike, row, jump rope) to build your cardiorespiratory capacity and stamina;

- Gymnastics movements (e.g. air squats, pull-ups, push-ups, toes-to-bar, rings, inversion) to improve body control, core stability and strength

Nutrition Consultation

Nutrition is a key component to any competitive arena and Bell City provides personalized Nutrition Consultation based on the core concepts of The Zone Diet.  Work with Coach Nickie to define your goals and identify the parameters for your nutrition plan that will help you achieve them.

Our Nutrition Program options are designed by our Coach Nickie, a Certified Anti-Inflammation Coach, who continues to work and learn directly from Dr. Barry Sears (founder of The Zone Diet) and The Zone Team at their headquarters in MA.
