You Don’t Have to do Everything Right… Just Most of It
Greg Everett writes this article with weightlifting in mind, but really it applies to much of what we do at Bell City - gymnastics, strength, stamina, you name it, there's always room to improve. Take it one day at a time and celebrate the small victories.
As Greg mentions in his article:
"Pay attention to that <small> improvement rather than obsessing over the absence of perfection."
Especially if you've been CrossFitting for several years, the PR's and accomplishments don't happen as quickly or as regularly as when you were a novice, but when they do happen, they're almost more rewarding.
The devil is in the details, but don't let the details hinder your progress. Set measurable, actionable goals. Put a plan in place to achieve those goals. Celebrate your victories. If you need help wrapping your head around where and how to start, ask your Coaches!
