This week, we will progress on our 12 week strength cycle by increasing up to 65-70% for our Back Squat, Strict Press, and Deadlift. This is still relatively light, which gives us more time to hone in our technique for when the heavier weights come.

Great work last week as we started our new strength cycle!

This week, we will progress on our 12 week strength cycle by increasing up to 65-70% for our Back Squat, Strict Press, and Deadlift. This is still relatively light, which gives us more time to hone in our technique for when the heavier weights come.

Deadlifts will be Wednesday, Strict Press Thursday, and Back Squats Friday. All will be sets of 4 at 65-70%.

We will also revisit the classic CrossFit Workout: "Fran" on Friday. This was last tested September 16th! To get ready for fast-paced pull ups on Friday, we'll have a solid gymnastics skill session incorporated into Tuesdays workout.

💥The 2026 CrossFit Open Registration is officially underway! We already have tons of people signed up and we are VERY excited!  

If you are new here, or approaching your first Open, the CrossFit Games Open is the first leg of a year-long qualification process for the CrossFit Games World Championships at the end of every year. The Open is an international, online competition that every CrossFit gym in the world takes part in, lasting a total of 3 weeks. Registration begins Wednesday, Jan 14th. If you are still on the fence about the Open, watch this for more info!

Registration is encouraged but not required. The official open workouts will always be Friday group class during the 3-week period, so you'll be doing them anyways! The Open season is a great community event and some of the most fun we have as a community together!

❄️Weather: As we head into the winter months, please know that we always make every effort to keep the gym open as long as it is safe for both our coaches and members to travel to and from classes.

In the event that we do need to cancel classes due to weather, you can expect the following communications:

• A Facebook post in the Bell City CrossFit Private Members Group

• An email message sent to the email address we have on file for you in ZenPlanner

You will also see affected classes marked as cancelled/unavailable in both ZenPlanner and SugarWOD.

As a reminder, we post a daily At-Home Workout in SugarWOD so you can continue training even if you’re unable to make it into the gym.

Here's a look at our week ahead:

We have a Power Snatch Complex and a longer Chipper for Monday. Rowing and Burpees with post-workout Pull Up Skill Work on Tuesday. Deadlifts on Wednesday. Strict Press and Biking/Double Unders for Thursday. Fran and Back Squats on Friday. Saturday is another grind of Rowing, Power Cleans, and Farmers Carries. Sunday will be a flow and glow EMOM of Handstand Holds, Choice Cardio, Light KBS, and Box Jumps.

Here's your weekly rundown:

• MONDAY: (GRIND) Snatch+Overhead Squat Complex, Shuttle Runs, Wall Balls, V-Ups

• TUESDAY: (GRIND) Rowing and Burpees... Gymnastics Skill Session

• WEDNESDAY: (CHALLENGE) 4x4 Deadlifts @70%... Toes to Bar, Wall Walks, Hang Power Snatch

• THURSDAY: (CHALLENGE) 4x4 Strict Press @ 65%... Biking and Double Unders

• FRIDAY: (SPRINT) 5x4 Back Squat @70%... Fran (21-15-9 Thrusters and Pull Ups)

• SATURDAY: (GRIND)  Rowing, Power Cleans, Farmers Walk

• SUNDAY: (QUALITY) EMOM Handstand Holds, KBS, Box Jumps, Cardio
