đź’Şđź’ŞGreat work on the first half of our strength cycle!
This week will be a deload week for our lifting. A deload is a short period of time where we will lighten the load and hone in on technique in order for our central nervous systems to recover. We will still Squat, Press, and Deadlift this week, but it will be lighter. Roughly 60%.
‍
If you are feeling beat up from the past month, feel free to carry the deload over to your workouts as well.
‍
As our Open prep continues, we will take on 23.3 on Friday. 23.3 is a more recent Open workout with Wall Walks, Double Unders, and Snatching.
We will also see a Mayhem Benchmark "Ball Out" on Wednesday. "Ball Out" is a descending ladder of Wall Balls and Row Calories and will likely come up periodically.

The 2026 CrossFit Games Open kicks off in under 3 weeks!
We have officially made it to the 2026 CrossFit Games Open! The Open kicks off with the 26.1 live announcement on Thursday 2/26! Registration is still underway and will run all the way up to the submission deadline for 26.1.
If you are new here, or approaching your first Open, the CrossFit Games Open is the first leg of a year-long qualification process for the CrossFit Games World Championships at the end of every year. The Open is an international, online competition that every CrossFit gym in the world takes part in, lasting a total of 3 weeks. Register and learn more about the Open/Games Season HERE
As always, the Open workouts will be group class on Fridays during the 3-week period. If you need to make it up or redo a workout, please coordinate that with a coach/judge.
